What is the Raider Yearbook?
The Raider Yearbook is the annual program for Coffee County Central High School. About 15 hand-selected staff members work nearly two hours every day to create an interesting and accurate record of the year and the individuals in the school. At the same time the staff member improve themselves and each other through mutual respect and constructive criticism. Yearbook Advisor Mr. Scott Price has been overseeing the creative design process, content, and quality of the book for eight years, and under his leadership the staff has won numerous awards and honors.

The Yearbook Process
How is a yearbook made?
The yearbook is the product of one full calendar year's preparation, dedication, and hard work. Each spring, immediately following the completion of one book, the staff brainstorms potential themes and designs for the next year's book. Photos are taken year-round, as many events are specific to certain seasons. Pictures are enhanced digitally using Adobe Photoshop. Pages are designed and completed using Adobe InDesign. Pages are submitted on disc to Walsworth Publishing over four deadlines throughout the year.

Yearbook Orders
How can I order a yearbook?
Yearbook orders are distributed to students in the fall term. Bills are sent in the mail to the designated mailing address numerous times and provide the opportunity to change or correct the order. Yearbooks may also be purchased from Buy a Yearbook.com.
I missed the payment deadline. May I still get a yearbook?
No, but not necessarily no. You can no longer order a yearbook, either online or on paper. However, a limited number of books will be sold for $65 cash only on yearbook day.
Joining Staff
What do I need to do to be a part of the yearbook staff?
In the spring of each year, the staff announces a deadline for turning in applications, which can be picked up in the yearbook room (Rm. 24) or printed here. The application form asks for the usual information (name, contact information, etc.) and also asks for relevant information suck as photography experience or prior annual work . Prospective staff members are also required to give examples of their writing. From there, the applicants are interviewed by the staff, and final selection occurs with a staff conference after all applicants have been interviewed.
